The gallery is proud to present The Prime of Your Life, a landmark group exhibition bringing together an extraordinary roster of women artists over the age of 75 whose decades-long practices have fundamentally shaped the course of contemporary art. Installed across the gallery’s 299 Grand Street space, this ambitious exhibition celebrates not only longevity, but sustained innovation, resilience, and the enduring urgency of artistic vision.

 

The exhibition includes works by Marina Abramović, Frances Barth, Lynda Benglis, Squeak Carnwath, Judy Chicago, Suzan Frecon, Brenda Goodman, Sonia Gomes, Mary Heilmann, Lynn Hershman Leeson, Jenny Holzer, Shirley Kaneda, Dindga McCannon, Michele Oka Doner, Judy Pfaff, Martha Rosler, Jeanne Silverthorne, Rose Wylie, and Mia Westerlund.
